For most of us, it is Not our Behavior that needs to change, in order to enter and rest in this victorious life in Christ. We have found that the scripture verse which best addresses today's average Christian struggle and lack, is Galatians 2:20 -
"I have been and I still am (Greek perfect tense) crucified (completely dead) with Christ; (when He died on the cross, I died with Him, because in some mysterious way He took me into himself); nevertheless I am alive; but even so, I am not really the one who is Alive; it's Christ himself in person who is living His Life within me (and at the same time, somehow causing me to keep my own personality and soul): and the life which I am living today in the meat and bones and soul of my mortal body is being lived only inside of the power of the Faith of Christ Jesus the Son of the Most High God, Who laid down His own life to give me a life."

Then, since we know that we are one spirit with Christ, who IS our life, all we have left to DO, is Romans 6:6 and 11 : "Knowing this, that our old man (the one who was indwelt by Mr. Sin) is crucified with him, so that the body of sin might be destroyed (it's gone; we don't have to mess with it any more) ... RECKON (acknowledge, confirm, verify to your heart and mind - because it's already happened and you just need to notify your brain of the facts) yourself to be dead indeed to sin (you died to the lordship of Mr. Sin), but alive to God (YHWH has now replaced Mr. Sin as Lord of your life) through Jesus Christ our Lord."

In short, for every one who has been reborn, Christ is the only one who is living their life, not they themselves. PERIOD !! That is the whole story in a nutshell   ... and the only difference between Christians in strife and Christians Resting in Peace and Joy, is that the former still believe themselves independent of God - to one degree or another. That belief is rooted in the original sin, as is satan who said "I will be like God". We don't seem to realize that if we take the Blame for "bad" behavior, we must also take the Credit for "good" behavior. Otherwise we have to admit that we are not the Source of either behavior. It's all Him. Christ IS our entire life, and we are merely living vessels of Him.

The WORD of GOD -:
There is One and only one "Word of God": He is purely a Spirit person.   The first time in the history of the world that He manifested Himself living within a physical man, was in a sinless man called Jesus, who thereby became Yahweh-Y'shua. (Colossians 1:18 and John 1:1-5)   The Word of God is sometimes called the "second person" of the Godhead.   He is the One Who speaks into physical reality, whatever the Father conceives.   The Father, the Most High God Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - said that HE Exalts His Word above His own Name (Psalm 138:2) and His WORD is His Son: Christ.
Jesus Christ, as the first incarnated Word of Yahweh, the first of many spirit-physical Sons of God, the Son Spirit person having Become flesh for the first time, is fully God, and fully human - two persons living in every way as One, inseparable.

Anything less than Christ himself, the Spirit person, this triumphant One, this King of All Kings, can only be a portion of the "Word of God".   All written records, however powerfully wonderful, and however truly inspired by the Spirit of the most high God Yahweh, are at best LIMITED PORTIONS of the "Word of God", because the "Word of God" is an Absolutely Sovereign Living Soul, the firstbegotten Son of the Father of Lights.   He is a Spirit PERSON, who manifests Himself in US!

Jesus Himself said: "WHY are you looking in the Scriptures to try to find Life, instead of coming to Me??" (John 5:39-40) "You search the Scriptures, thinking that in them you have eternal life, but they speak of Me, and you will not come to Me that you might have life." In other words, the scriptures are Pointers, indicating Jesus Christ. LIFE comes from having HIM INSIDE you, He Who IS LIFE, not from having head knowledge, even if it is Scriptural head knowledge !!! Scriptures are NOT LIFE; scriptures are In-Spirited POINTERS to show us WHO is Life; PICTURES of how people appear when they have LIFE or not.

So, please don't call the Bible "the Word of God", as if the Spirit Son of the Most High God could be fully captured on paper with ink!   Maybe it should be called the written part of the Word of God, or simply "The Bible" or "The Book". Let there be discernment about His wonderful Personage !!

His Name is Yahweh -:
Far back in history a group of well-intentioned Rabbis, but not listening to God, decided that they needed to do something to keep the people from the possibility of blaspheming the name of God, which they counted as a really high level crime, worthy of death. So they came up with a disobedient plan to use TITLES in place of His Name, and THEY TOOK HIS NAME OUT OF ALL THE SCRIPTURES, replacing "Yahweh" with "Lord", "God", and variations thereof !!! And since "God" and "Lord" are TITLES, not names, using them makes Him seem to feel to us very IMPERSONAL, and DISTANT, and causes us to see him as more of an "IT" than a living, breathing, person with a face. So these allegedly wise men, for perfectly good and honorable reasons (to the natural mind), DISOBEYED GOD. However, to the mind renewed by the Rebirth, and functioning in the Permanent (Spirit) Realm, obedience is far more important than excuses, no matter how noble. He TOLD us to Make His Name Known in all the earth (Exodus 3:14-15). He really is All About Relationships. So, let's not think we have a better idea than what He has clearly said to us. Just do it His Way!

His Name is Yahweh. The word "Jehovah" (or Yehovah) is a made-up word that "kinda-sorta" means Lord - which would be a Title, not a Name. The reason it's "kinda-sorta" is because it's a cobbled, or bungled, or jackleg word - it's really not a word, because it's "stuck together" from the Hebrew Consonants of His Name YHWH, with the vowels from "Adonai", which means "Lord" (original written Hebrew had no vowels, because everyone "just knew" what the sounds were, from constant usage). I think just about anyone anywhere would say that a word stuck together from other words is goofy! "They" did it to make the real name, YHWH, pronounceable - but the history and verbal traditions of surviving Hebrews indicate that "Yahweh" is the correct pronunciation. This is mainly evident because that word in Hebrew means "I AM" - in past, present, and future tenses - or more literally, "I WAS, I AM, I WILL ALWAYS BE". That is what HE said His Name is !

Now, since He is the "all in all", it's obviously impossible to address all of His Nature with a single Name. A particular man might say of himself that he's a carpenter, AND he's a father, AND he's a husband, AND he's an amateur musician. He's all of these, and there's no single word that covers them all. The name Yahweh, which means "I AM", without any object, indicates that He Is .... (everything, everywhere). That's why we find Many names for Him in the Bible, focusing on some of His more prominent characteristics or attributes that are at our level of comprehension. Some of these are listed here. There is not the even the slightest hint of Separation, or Distance, ever, between the spirit person Christ, and anyone who has accepted Him as Savior -:
Most followers of Christ that we have met, will admit with their mouths that they truly believe Christ lives within them, but in all practical ways the religious system has trained their minds to see themselves as separate from Christ and independent of Him. In all of their conversation, it comes out over and over that their true perspective is "I'm, here - and Christ is there; He's separate from me".

Certainly there is truth, in the natural realm, that a human is distinct from Christ, but here's the "Mystery" from 1Cor 6:17: "he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit". We actually are One with Him !!!* This is something that simply cannot be explained to our human mind!   That's why it's called MYSTERY -: Christ (actually living His Life) IN YOU, IS the hope of glory! .... Look! Paul, writing in Ephesians 5:31,32 says that CHRIST and the CHURCH are ONE FLESH in the same great and mysterious manner as a man and his wife are one flesh !! - and You and I are the Church !! - so, Christ, the SON of YHWH, and the WORD of God, has become (taken upon Himself) FLESH by living in each of US, just as He did in Jesus.

Galatians 3 talks about how goofy those Christians were (and we are, too), to think that even though Christ accomplished their salvation from sins, they themselves had to accomplish their daily life walk! They actually thought that their daily living was up to them, even though they saw that they could not have saved themselves. Seeing ourselves as separate from Him is not only unscriptural*, but enormously defeating to one's self-perception, as we fail Him time after time. We have seen that fears abound to those who perceive themselves as separate from the Living God, and such fears can overwhelm whole lives. Self-centered thinking is self-destructive. That's because when a reborn follower of Christ sees himself as independent from Christ, he is in sin. He's going around thinking of himself as a god, as if he were able to run his own life independent of YHWH.

There will Always be some area that any given person fails to "do right" in the natural realm. Jesus said if you want to be Righteous externally, you have to do it much better than the extremely, carefully religious holy men do with great effort and very detailed concentration on every tiny action in their life. And here's the real kicker: You have to NEVER slip up, not even one time. (Matthew 5:20) If you slip ONCE, you have failed completely. (James 2:10) Does that sound Possible to DO??

Then, it seems Jesus went "over the top" when He said, "unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have No Life in you". (John 6:53) !!! Super Impossible !!! HOW on earth do you do that ??? The answer is: ONLY in Spirit -; not on the natural earth ! In other words, if you want to be Righteous in your external performance and actions, you will always fail. THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE can EVER succeed, with such requirements as "one slip equals failure" and eating and drinking Jesus !!! God has purposely set up Righteousness to be so demanding that it's impossible to us. He wants us to come to the place where we are completely, thoroughly convinced that our own righteousness is totally IMPOSSIBLE. As long as we think we can be righteous if we try hard enough, we are already in major sin: the very arrogant sin of self-righteousness. It may seem to be just "reasonable diligence" and "being responsible", but it only seems that way to the mind separated from God. YOU CANNOT DO IT !! NO ONE CAN !! We are not supposed to be able to do what He says. We are supposed to wake up to the fact that what He asks of us is Completely Impossible, and QUIT TRYING, because THAT is wherein we see our need for Him. Please, just say, "I give up" and be truly at the end of yourself. Then you will be in the humbled state of mind where you can see that CHRIST IS your Righteousness, and you have No Part in it, except to Believe Him.

So the "moral" of this story is, Keep right on trying as hard as you can, to do everything perfectly "right". You will continually fail, but keep on trying anyway. That is the path God has set before each of us to convince us that Only He is our Righteousness. Only He can live our life; not we. THEN and only then, we ARE Righteous, by Believing that HE IS our Rightousness, who lives inside each of us from the time that we first receive Him.

One of the undesirable results of seeing ourselves separate from God, is that we tend to focus on ourselves in every situation, instead of Him. There is a popular "Christian?" song that says, "Lord, help me Jesus, I've wasted it, So help me Jesus, I know what I am. Now that I know that I've needed you .... ". That attitude certainly seems (to the flesh) like a healthy humility, doesn't it?
May we suggest that this focus is not on Christ, but on self? There's just something about focusing on HIM that fills one with Confidence in Him. It causes us to lose sight of the external self and be at Peace.   In contrast, this song is wailing and moaning about how bad they are, and how much they need God's Help. See? That center is SELF, not Christ !
We have discovered that such sentiments are a phony humility. How in the world shall we who have been Totally redeemed go around moaning about our failures? The ONLY way anyone can see himself as a failure is by erroneously believing he's separate from God. Then we act like we can carry those failures to Him - Who has already FINISHED THE WORK given to Him by the Father - as if there is something else that needs doing !! God is Not Interested in HELPING us do anything. He has already done ALL, FOR Us; which means in place of us, not Us doing it and Him helping. Do you see? The first is Me-centered, the other is HIM centered. We can only be Me-centered when we perceive ourselves as separate from Him.

Please Hear this: True Humility is acknowledging that we are one with Christ, a simple container for His Personal Holy Presence, not an independent, self-controlled little god of our own, able to improve ourselves and somehow "pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps", needing no more than "a little help from God". We are spirits, but we live in flesh bodies, with flesh souls. These bodies and souls are Designed on Purpose to fail. Humility knows that we are "Working As Designed"; Pride denies it.

Then the song says "I know what I am. If this were true, if the singer really did know what he is as a Christian, he would not be doing all that me-centered moaning; he would be rejoicing, knowing that he is a Residence of Christ Himself, Holy and set apart unto Righteousness. He clearly Does Not Know what he is. He's only looking at the external appearance. A true Christian is a Son of the Most High God, and he is One Spirit with God in Person.

This Perception of separation was begun when Adam ate of the tree of "the knowledge of good AND evil". God intended for him to eat of the tree of Life! Man was never intended to see the world and life two ways. There is only ONE way to see things rightly; Christ is behind and within All Things. This is why Jesus said that "if your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light. But if your eye be evil (obviously, not single), your whole body shall be full of darkness." (Mat 6:22, Lk 11:34)
 
The single eye sees God as Absolute Sovereign, behind, beneath, above, around, and all through every situation no matter what it seems. For example: Elisha had been hearing from God about the military movements of Syria, and was telling the King of Israel about what he heard. The king of Syria sent "a host" of soldiers and war chariots to get Elisha, and they surrounded the city where he was. Elisha's servant freaked out when he saw that scary Gang, but Elisha just said, "There are more with us than there are with them". Elisha then asked God to open the servant's eyes, and he saw the entire mountain full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha and his servant. (2Kings 6)
 
Joseph also exemplified this single eye, judging rightly. He could have blamed his brothers, Potiphar's wife, or the forgetful chief butler for his many years of misery. He could have even blamed satan. But instead he saw God behind the whole situation. He said to his brothers, who had sold him as a slave, "it was not you that sent me hither, but God" (Gen 45), and later he told them "Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." (Gen 50).
 
Jesus also demonstrated a single eye when He could have blamed Judas or satan for having to face such a real, and painful death. Instead, He said, "the cup which my Father has given me, shall I not drink it?" (John 18:11). Hence we say that as we engage in the process of RECOGNIZING Christ and His Redemption for us in EVERYTHING in our lives, the appearances of evil diminish until they fade entirely out of the picture. We move away from judging good-and-evil, and into living by His Life!
 
All of this is why Norman Grubb said, "The only sin is unbelief -- which is negative believing (John 16:9 and Romans 14:23).   Unbelief is seeing things and people and situations as though separate from God." . . . because it's true that Nothing exists outside of God - Father, Son, and Spirit.  Every one of us is completely within Him.

Anything, Anyone that you put your trust in WILL ALWAYS let you down, sooner or later -:

Except Yahweh-Y'shua, Jesus. .... and when that thing or person you were trusting lets you down, fails or betrays you, you will hate them for it, and will blame them for your depression, failure, discouragement, or frustration. Sometimes it's difficult to recognize when we are trusting someone else. But when we hate them for failing us, the light comes on, and we can see that we had no business trusting them in the first place. By trusting them (similar to trusting a god), we actually "LEGALLY" GAVE THEM a wrongful place of "lordship" in our life. If we had regarded them wisely, and trusted only Y'shua, their failure would never have become ours. So, WE ourselves are the ONLY ones RESPONSIBLE for their failure affecting us; - they alone are responsible for themselves, and never in any way responsible for our misery. The most prevalent way that many of us trust someone-other-than-God, is by putting our trust in ourselves - in our cleverness, our resourcefulness, our intelligence, our creativeness .... our Money, etc., etc., WHICH ALL COMES TO US ONLY FROM HIM !!! This is obvious idolatry. We tend to trust the thing or person HE has given us, and disregard HIM Who gave it ! Is this any way for a spirit person to behave?

The reason that where we put our Confidence is so important, is that Trust / Believing is absolutely the ONLY ability we ever had, as humans. If any of us for even a moment did not have a continual flow of strengths, gifts and provisions directly FROM GOD, we would be Unable to change anything about our lives, or accomplish anything by "setting our minds to it". The ONLY power we humans really have, as natural people, is the power to Believe, and even at that, our Confidence-Faith in God is really His Own; it's a gift He gave us.

Then, on the "other side" of faith, notice that Fear is believing, as well. Fear is Confidence in some negative outcome, such as harm or damage - usually by something specific. For this reason, Fear can be considered as a quasi-faith; it's a faith in evil coming upon us. And again, Believing is the only thing in our lives that is mostly within our control. Let's not use it to Choose darkness !!

Faith is our Worship (worth-ship). People are designed to bear in themselves a god, and to exalt that god. Faith is the mechanism that lifts up the resident god - whoever that may be. Of course Faith is not something in itself; it Must have an object to Trust. The Object of our Confidence is the single greatest determiner of our lives and our Peace from day to day. If we believe in (and thereby Rest upon) anything other than the True God Himself, and what He says to us in our spirits, we will inevitably find ourselves living in many kinds of misery.

Many of us see "God's Faithfulness" from a perspective centered on ourselves. It had never occurred to most of us that there could be any other way to look at this subject. This could be called a sin perspective, because it presupposes that we see ourselves separate from God, and independent of Him. From that perspective, we become "seekers", even beggars, pleading and trying to convince God to help us, as we attempt to ignore our fear that He might not.
Scripturally, GOD IS NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING ANYONE !! He is interested in doing Salvation FOR us, not helping us do it. You see, the primary actor gets the glory. So He does not help us get saved, He Himself saves us. He does not help us love others, He Himself, living within us, loves others from within us. He does not help us find the money to pay our bills, or heal ourselves from sickness; He Himself, living within us, provides all of our needs in His Way and His Timing - by "a way that ye know not of". Therefore, if we hold to a self-centered perspective, we will only continually be disappointed as we see many things we "trusted Him to do" for us, fail to come to pass. On the other hand, if our perspective is centered on Him and our hearts settled with His Faithfulness, we will be able to see that Everything in our lives IS the Actual working out of His Faithfulness and Love for us - both the things which seem to us "bad" and the "good" things. Let's Face it Folks!! - none of us have the vision or understanding of God's Purposes or Methods, to be able to rightly judge what is really "good" or "bad" for us. God could be compared to a carpenter replacing a small window with a big one, to let more light in. The first thing He does is to destroy the wall. Then we go into traumatic anxiety if we are not already settled in Confidence with His Perfect Plan, and His Wisdom about the Best Way to proceed, and His Faithfulness to Love us well.  See, we don't have to be as smart or skilled as the carpenter, to judge God's actions; we only have to KNOW in our spirit that He is Faithful (PLEASE, it's a decision, not a feeling). We have to KNOW it deeply enough to bet our Lives on Him, No Matter How it comes out in the end. You will know you have that Confidence when you can honestly Thank Him before you see the results, and not repent of that thankfulness after you see the results.

"If we begin by acknowledging that He is always fully in Control of His Creation, and at His root, the Most Basic Nature of Yahweh is AGAPE (selfless, and personally intimate) LOVE, we can then see that Everything that happens in our Lives IS ALWAYS ONLY HIS PERFECT LOVE, with NO exceptions! From that we must necessarily BELIEVE that His Love and Redemption for us IS WITHIN EVERY SITUATION, No Matter What It Looks Like, and No Matter What WE OURSELVES have done or failed to do.
Col 1:22 says He presents us Holy and Unblameable in His sight (no matter what in your behavior or habits seems to deny that). To Believe less than this would be to say that we are gods, able to see better than YHWH, and able to thwart His purposes in our lives."

"Suppose someone comes along saying 'There is Nothing in me which is not Christ'. Would you go into shock? That seems understandable - most of us would, when first hearing such a statement. Then we are reminded of our first reaction when discovering "You ARE the RIGHTEOUNSESS of God" (2Cor 5:21, Rom 9:30,10:4). Now, watch this: If I am the Righteousness of God, then every tiniest detail of me must necessarily be righteous. Never mind that it doesn't make sense to your mind; None of this does. Listen with your Spirit !! Also, please remember that if someone offends in the smallest matter of the law, he has offended the Whole Law !! So, the only way anyone can be said to be the 'Righteousness of God' by the law, is for them to be UTTERLY PERFECT in every detail. Since that is impossible to EVERY one but Jesus - our only hope of righteousness is by His Faith working from within us. That position is wherein we boldly say 'There is Nothing in me which is not Christ'."

"As we engage in the process of **RECOGNIZING** Christ and His Redemption for us in EVERYTHING in our lives, the **appearances** of evil will diminish until they fade entirely out of the picture"
"Appearances" are those things and situations that are strictly within the limit of all that our natural man can "see" or "know". "Mysteries" are beyond our natural limits, perceivable only by our spirit man.
          **(in law, "Recognizing" a thing or person means to endorse the authority of that in your life)

"Yahweh is All, and He is IN All" (Colossians 3:11)   - Many people, upon hearing this call it pantheism.   NO !!   Pantheism is "a doctrine that identifies God with the universe, or regards the universe as a manifestation of God." In other words, for a pantheist, there is NO PERSON who is God. There's just STUFF, and animals and people, and ideas - which are somehow, collectively what they call "god"; it is not a person.
The true God, whose name is Yahweh, lives and has His being both within and outside of time and space. There is nothing anywhere, material, spirit, or otherwise, that He is not part of, as a PERSONAL participant, and is also the Primary Presence in it.

"The ONLY Real problem anyone ever has is their own Unbelief in Christ himself. The only true function of a human being is simply to BELIEVE-RECEIVE Christ. Jesus himself actually said "I can do nothing of myself", and Paul said the same. John 8:28, 1 Cor 4:4"

"In the New Testament every way that humanity is characterized, demonstrates that we are not gods ourselves, but Containers of a god. There are only two gods we may contain: the false god, or the One True God whose name is I AM. As containers, we dynamically, and with complete freedom of will, ALWAYS manifest the god that occupies our "house". We do not always understand HOW some of the things we do could possibly be Christ, but that is part of being a container instead of a god.
In scripture we are called Vessels, not the contents (Rom 9:22-23), Branches, not the vine (John 15:5, Rom 6:20-22), Temples, not the deity (1Cor 6:19-20), Servants, not masters (Rom 6:17-18, John 15:20, Luke 12:43, 16:13, Mark 9:35), Body, not the head (Eph 1:22-23, Col 1:18), and Bride, not the husband (Rom 7:2-4)."

"If you insist on taking the blame for your sins, you must also take credit for your own salvation. Either way you are claiming to be a god. How can you think to be responsible for the "bad" that you do but not for the "good"? You cannot have it both ways !! Either you're responsible for all or nothing. . . . In reality you cannot be responsible for either !!
The truth is that you are not a god, so you are not responsible for your behavior. You are a vessel, a residence for a god, and the god living within you is the one responsible for all your actions because HE is lord of your life, not you. There are only two gods, the real and the pretender. If you can recognize that when you are loving people selflessly, it is Christ in residence within you doing it, not you, then you must also admit that an unredeemed person does not do evil of himself, but by the false god (Mr. Sin - Lucifer) within him!"

"Look at Christ's indwelling this way: Suppose I have a bottle of cold, sweet Mango Nectar. I do not say 'I have a bottle, and by the way, it has ....whatever.... in it'. I say 'I have MANGO NECTAR', and the bottle part need not be said. Of course it's in a bottle, because it's LIQUID, and it's physical shape is that of its container. In the same way, Christ's Natural Shape is people, like Me, (or whoever) He's inside, because He's a Spirit. He's the main person that everyone wants to relate to, not me. This whom you see before you, that looks like a man with habits and personality, is Christ Himself, Sweet and Rich in Love ! - Yes, I do still exist, but just barely enough to count (like a bottle). HE is the one with Whom we have to do, and He lives in us. The Kingdom of God (the Presence of the King) is WITHIN US !!"

"Sin's nature is independence from God. Since Christ caused us to become ONE SPIRIT with Himself, THERE IS NO WAY that we can sin, because a thing that is "one" cannot internally have either commandment or law. 'Sin', now that we're reborn, is only a Separated Mindset; nothing else."

How shall we condemn ourselves, when God calls us His Righteousness?
